Palm Desert grad Jordan Sprinkle taken by Chicago White Sox in fourth round

Former Palm Desert High School baseball player Jordan Sprinkle had recently announced that he was leaving UC Santa Barbara to transfer to the University of Arkansas. His travel plans may be changing again. 

That’s because Sprinkle was drafted Monday in the fourth round of the Major League Baseball draft by the Chicago White Sox as the 131st player taken overall.
