A new indoor market is being planned for Iowa City’s South District, giving vendors at the summertime Diversity Market the opportunity to lease space year-round.
SouthGate Companies, a real estate firm, is planning the new mixed-use building, called “The South District Market,” inside what used to be a Slumberland location in collaboration with members of the community and Iowa City planning staff.
