Local housing market in Jordan sees year-end uptick with sales increasing by 10-15%

AMMAN — As the year comes to a close, the local housing market has witnessed a modest resurgence in demand revival with the sales increasing by nearly 10-15 per cent, revealed sector representatives.

According to a recent report by the Department of Land and Survey, the local sales volume of apartments during the first 10 months of 2023 declined by 26 per cent compared with the same period of 2022. Moreover, the overall sales volume of land…
